weird Weather

First Verse

The weather is calming

Pools and puddles dry in the sun

Gentle breezes carry mist away

Clouds are parting to a golden memory

I’m lonely I realize

Cause memories of gold

Aren’t enough to surprise me

Or

To entice my senses I blame

Nostalgia, for it all

Cause a perfect memory

Bright and dewy

Leaves me feeling quite small

Second Verse

I’m lonely I realize

Cause memories of gold

Aren’t enough to surprise me

Or

To entice my senses I blame

Nostalgia, for it all

Cause a perfect memory

Bright and dewy

Leaves me feeling quite small

Third Verse

The weather feels a little weird

Raindrops linger on windows sills only to give way

To partly sunny skies, I fear

Cause I’d rather have storms that part seas

To way make for skies perfectly blue

Than a promise of warmth giving a storm a chance

To come back for round two
